Follow the marked paths from the house, either by mountain bike or on foot, into the heart of the countryside and you will find flora and fauna in abundance (thyme, savory, lavander, arbusiers and mushrooms....) There are also plenty of other walks for you to explore (maps are available on request). |

Lovers of old stone will find a walk through our village, with its remarkable architecture, enchanting.
Two rivers,the Ardeche and Ceze, are just a short ride from the house ( 8 kms), ideal places for a quiet swim or discovering kayak canoeing.

Issirac is a small, quiet and picturesque village with narrow streets and a typical bell tower. Surrounded by cherry trees, lavender fields and vineyards, it is situated between Pont St Esprit and Barjac on the RD901. |

- The outstanding Gorges of the
Ardeche. 30kms of wild canyons, which you can explore on foot or by Kayak canoe, a wonderful place for swimming where prehistoric man has left his mark. This natural sanctury is full of grottos and pot holes and is a habitat for exceptional wild life, with its Mediterranean vegetation, holm oaks and scented landscape.
- The Ceze Valley, scattered with wonderful small villages and waterfalls
- The famous Provencal markets
- Visit the ancient towns of Pont St Esprit, Orange, Avignon, Nimes, Usez and le Pont du Gard, full of charm and history and rich in Roman ruins, churches and Roman chapels.
